Predecir los resultados académicos de los estudiantes permite al docente buscar técnicas y estrategias en el tiempo indicado durante el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje con el fin de mejorar el logro de competencias en sus estudiantes. En esta investigación se implementó una red neuronal artificial (RNA) para predecir los resultados académicos del curso de física de los estudiantes del II ciclo de la carrera profesional de Ingeniería Civil de la universidad Nacional Intercultural Fabiola Salazar Leguía de Bagua-Perú en función de datos históricos. La RNA se diseñó e implemento en el Software MATLAB, su arquitectura está formada por una capa de entrada, una capa oculta y una capa de salida, para el entrenamiento de la RNA se utilizó dos algoritmos que posee la Toolbox de MATLAB: el Scaled Conjugate Gradient logrando un porcentaje de predicción del 70% y el Levenberg-Marquardt logrando un porcentaje de predicción 86%.

In software engineering, Software Configuration Management is a set of support activities that allows for the orderly absorption of changes inherent to software development. For that, organization models for code versioning like Gitflow have been proposed. In Gitflow, two fixed branches (master and develop) are used to store the project history and be the starting point for changes. Despite the popularity of Gitflow for being considered a simple workflow, there are few: (a) reports of its use in practice and / or (b) documentation on how to deploy it in a real environment. The definition of a software engineering body of knowledge (SWEBOK) is an important milestone in the history of the software engineering discipline. One of the main questions that might be asked in front of such knowledge definition is: to which extent does my knowledge cover this body of knowledge ? In a more general perspective we can be interested in measuring the coverage of any entity w.r.t. the SWEBOK. It could be a book, a paper, a course, . . . . In this paper, we present the method we defined to answer such question, the tool we developed and the experiments we did with the lessons learned.

This paper presents an approach to assess the design of a software system which is modelled using the Coordinated Atomic Actions (CAA) paradigm. The approach relies on simulation to make possible the assessment of the design. By simulating the design, engineers can assess its adherence to the requirements elicited in previous phases of the software development life cycle.

Study of this paper is immersed with the effective clustering and mining approach with the help of information. There are wide range of text mining applications, having information with them. This information may be of various types, such as the links in the document, web logs which contains user-access behavior, provenance information of the documents or other text document which are embedded into the non-textual attributes. These attributes may include lots of information for clustering intentions. However, attributes involved with the importance of this information may be hard to count, especially when some of the information is noisy. Radio propagation simulation tools are important for prediction and verification of the radio signal coverage by individual transmitters or transmitter networks such as mobile phone cellular networks. In the case of a large geographic area with a relative high resolution, the simulation can become computationally demanding, taking a considerable amount of time to accomplish. Parallel processing can be used to speed up the computation and shorten the response time. We used the GPGPU (General-Purpose Computing on Graphics Processing Units) approach for the open source GRASS-RaPlaT radio propagation tool. Penyakit gigi dan mulut menduduki peringkat pertama dari daftar 10 penyakit paling dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut serta buruknya pengetahuan masyarakat akan dampak penyakit gigi dan mulut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membantu dalam mendiagnosa penyakit gigi dan mulut yang dialami oleh pasien dengan menggunakan sistem pakar. Sistem pakar mengelola setiap gejala penyakit yang dirasakan oleh pasien dan melakukan pengujian menggunakan metode Case-Based Reasoning. Hasil dari pengujian metode Case-Based Reasoning dihasilkan sebuah diagnosa penyakit gigi dan mulut dengan tingkat kemiripan pada suatu penyakit sebesar 69,23%. Maka metode ini dapat digunakan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit gigi dan mulut yang dialami oleh pasien, sehingga membantu dokter spesialis mengambil keputusan dalam penanganan penyakit. This report covers the third year of a large scale RDI test designed to address the question of whether or not our proposed plant-based RDI regime is an effective method of reducing crop consumptive water use in almonds. A microsprinkler irrigated almond ranch of 320 acres (Magnum Ranch, Lassen Land Co.) was divided into 5 approximately equal blocks, and each block divided into unequal sized plots (1/3 West side and 2/3 East side of the block) in order to match the existing irrigation blocks. East and West plots were alternately assigned to control or RDI treatments. Control plots received normal grower practice (approximating full ETc), and RDI treatments were based on imposing a target level of stress, as measured by a midday stem water potential (SWP) of -14 to -18 bars during hull split.
