The article analyzes the experience of development of electronic scientific journals in Russia and Bulgaria in the context of general trends of digitalization and transformation of the sphere of science management in recent decades and also the implementation of a strategy to increase the competitiveness of science in the global scientific community, which is reflected in the activities of scientific journals. The main problem that draws attention of the authors is how universal digitalization changes the usual view of science, affecting the development of periodicals, and how, on the contrary, the network form of social institutions of science affects its development, what place such journals occupy in the general view of science. This expert report has been prepared by Economic Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, in connection with the initiative of the President of the Republic and the Embassy of Japan for a Bulgaria-Japan Business Meeting on February 5th, 2020. English fricatives’ pronunciation is problematic to common people especially Indo-European speakers such as Norwegian, French, Slovakian, Slovenian, Bulgarian, Portuguese, Czech, Spanish, Dutch, and Greek in the research. This research is about a problem of pronouncing English fricatives, which is experienced by speakers of Indo-European language. The theory used for this research is the availability of 9 English fricatives, mentioned by Peter Roach, in Indo-European language and how they affect the language. This research has 2 methods, which are data collection by recording the Indo-European speakers, then giving a questionnaire afterward and analyzing the data collection’s result. The results show 94% Dutch speakers achieved the most correct pronunciation of fricatives, the most fricatives, which were always replaced, are dental and palato-alveolar fricatives, and how English fricatives did not surround their daily activities back in their countries.

The article deals with a small group of Lithuanian verbs in which causative morphology has acquired an intensive function. While causative-intensive polyfunctionality is well attested typologically, the Lithuanian instance is interesting in that the intensive function manifests itself in reflexivised causatives. This development seems to be a consequence of the co-occurrence of causative and reflexive derivation as devices for building transitivity pairs in Baltic. The combination of the two devices yields intransitivised causatives that become semantically differentiated from the corresponding primary intransitives through developing an intensive function.

This paper presents the main achievements of the author’s PhD dissertation. The work is dedicated to mathematical and semi-empirical approaches applied to the case of Bulgarian wildland fires. After the introductory explanations, short information from every chapter is extracted to cover the main parts of the obtained results. Production of the traditional yoghurt, white-brined cheese, and yellow cheese, named “kashkaval”, in the Bulgarian region determines everyday consumption and health benefits for the local population. Аrtisanal dairy products and their autochthonous microbiota are a promising source for the research and creation of new minimally treated, but safe, functional and delicious food. The species from Lactobacillaceae are used in different fermentation technologies, improving the structure, taste, and aroma of the final products. These products possess a prolonged shelf life due to the biopreservative capabilities of the lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains, their positive health impact, and many physiological functions in the body. Background. In an attempt to stop the distribution of falsified medicinal products, the EU has adopted Directive 2011/62/EU. Since 9th February 2019, each package of medicinal product must be given a unique number in combination with a mandatory indicator of integrity. The Directive requires the creation of a system of serialization and verification of the medicinal products. Aim of the study: To determine the level of awareness about the serialization and verification system among masters of pharmacy and the preparedness of Bulgarian pharmacies to meet the new challenges. Materials and methods: A pilot survey was conducted in 25 pharmacies in Sofia. 41 specialists in pharmacy holding a master degree were interviewed using the “direct individual survey” method. In recent decades, entrepreneurship has been increasingly promoted as a solution to the problems associated with financial instability and their dire implications on the youth. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Entrepreneurship classes in Bulgarian secondary education through the Entrepreneurial Event Model of Shapero. The results showed that the Entrepreneurship classes affected only the students’ perceptions of entrepreneurial feasibility but had no effect on their propensity to act toward entrepreneurship or on their perceptions of the desirability of an entrepreneurial career. The level of pleasantness of the delivered Entrepreneurship classes had a significant impact on the students’ perceived feasibility of an entrepreneurial career.
